Privacy Policy
This is a pre-launch version, published ahead of any paying customers. Data handling practices described below reflect the actual current product.
This Privacy Policy explains how UXTruth ("UXTruth," "we," "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use uxtruth.com and the UXTruth application (the "Service").
If you do not agree with this policy, do not use the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.
4. How your data is processed and who we share it with
We use third party service providers to operate UXTruth, in the following categories. Each processes data strictly to provide their service to us, under their own security and data protection commitments.
| Category | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| AI processing | Generating research plans, insights, and synthesis outputs from your input | Your product/research input, uploaded transcripts |
| Infrastructure | Cloud hosting, authentication, file storage, and knowledge retrieval to run the Service | Account data, project content, uploaded files |
| Transcription | Converting uploaded audio and video into text | Uploaded audio and video files |
| Payments | Billing and subscription management | Billing details, subscription status |
| Email delivery | Sending account and transactional emails | Name, email address |
Our audio transcription provider is configured with model training disabled on our account, meaning your audio is not retained or used to train its models.
We do not permit our AI providers to use your submitted content to train models available to other customers, consistent with standard commercial API terms. This is a commitment about how we configure and use these services, not a guarantee of each provider's own independent policies, which you can review directly with them.
We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of UXTruth, our users, or the public.
5. Interview participant data
If you use Synthesise to upload interview recordings or transcripts, that content may include personal information about people other than you (your interview participants). You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from your interview participants before uploading their data to UXTruth. UXTruth acts as a data processor for this content on your behalf; you remain the data controller responsible for lawful collection and use of your participants' information. See our Terms of Service for the full allocation of this responsibility.
6. Data retention and deletion
We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. On deletion, your account, projects, uploaded files, and generated outputs are permanently removed from our systems, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or fraud prevention purposes, in which case only the minimum necessary data is retained for the minimum necessary period.
7. Your rights
Regardless of where you are located, you may request to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal data.
- Delete your personal data.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where applicable to you.
8. Cookies and tracking
We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not currently use analytics or marketing tracking cookies. If that changes, this section will be updated before any such tool is enabled.
9. Children's privacy
UXTruth is not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International data transfers
Our service providers may process and store data in countries other than your own, including the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
11. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be notified via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
